According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators and deputies apprehended an individual wanted from the State of Georgia on Tuesday. Warren Shannon, age 31 of Cedartown was taken into custody on an Alabama Fugitive from Justice Warrant and he was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Polk County, Georgia, warrant was issued for Terroristic Threats.
Shannon was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center, and awaits extradition to Polk County.
