According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, two individuals were charged on Friday in connection with the theft of a firearm from Sand Rock.
Investigator Brian Gilliland charged 40 year old Jennifer H. Dunn of Centre, with second degree theft of property and 36 year old Andrew D. Fountain of Sand Rock, with fourth degree receiving stolen property.
Fountain is also in custody on a warrant for non-support and a bond revocation.
Investigator Gilliland, with the assistance of Deputy Seth Rochester and Cedar Bluff Police, was able to recover the stolen firearm.
