Sheriff’s Office Investigators Recover Two Stolen Vehicles on Wednesday; One Suspect in Custody

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators recovered two stolen vehicles on Wednesday

According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, those stolen vehicles were involved in unrelated cases.

A 2013 Chevy Spark which was stolen from Paulding County, Georgia was recovered from a location on County Road 472.

The second stolen vehicle was recovered on Cedar Bluff Road in Centre.  The 2000 GMC van was taken from Jefferson County.  The driver of that vehicle, 35 year old Paul Lamar Shields of Pleasant Grove address was taken into custody and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree.
