A single vehicle accident has claimed the life of a Leesburg man.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville 28 year old Joshua Hightower was fatally injured when the 1995 Ford Tanker Truck he was driving overturned on County Road 69 in Centre just after 1:00pm Monday.
State Troopers say that Hightower was pronounced dead at the scene – the vehicle was registered to Weiss Lake Pumpers.
No additional information was available concerning the accident – Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
