A single vehicle accident near John’s Crossroads on Tuesday afternoon resulted in one person being injured. That accident occurred just after 1:00 p.m. on County Road 22 near County Road 450. A second vehicle became disabled after striking what appeared to be large rocks in the road from the accident.
Cherokee County Highway Department crews were called to the scene to clear those rocks from the road. The Spring Creek Fire Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
