Around 6:00am Wednesday, emergency crews were dispatched to a report of a one-vehicle accident on Highway 35 in the Watson’s Crossroads community, approximately three miles north of Gaylesville.  The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report listed both the driver, 21 year old Trevor Dutton of Section, and Dillon Silver of Fyffe, also 21, as receiving injuries in the mishap.

Reportedly, both were transported to Floyd Medical Center in Rome for treatment, after the 2010 Kia that Dutton was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

Cedar Bluff firefighters were dispatched to another single-vehicle accident – this one on the causeway near Blackwell’s at approximately 6:20am.  It appears one person was carried to Gadsden Regional for treatment as a result of injuries sustained in that wreck.

That accident is being handled by the Cedar Bluff Police Department.
