Six Arrested on Drug Charges in DeKalb County

The DeKalb County Drug & Major Crimes Unit, Deputies, Investigators and Ft Payne Police Department have been investigating several different individual over the past few months, and Friday afternoon (August 24th), a search warrant was obtained for a residence located on County Road 122 in Ft Payne.  

Later that same day, while executing the warrant, members of law enforcement discovered drugs and stolen items.

As a result of the search six individuals were arrested including Rickey Lionel Rogers, Jr., 35 of Ft Payne; Dale Lee Johnson, age 55 of Geraldine; and Michael James Little, 47 of Henagar, each charged with Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.  Lisa Marie Rogers, age 56 and Timothy Wayne Smith, 46, both of Ft Payne, were each charged with Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance; and Shannon Dewayne Seabolt, age 40 of Ft Payne, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree.

All were transported from the scene to the DeKalb County Detention Center.

Chief Deputy Michael Edmondson said that “This has been a combined effort between the DeKalb County Drug & Major Crimes Unit, Deputies, Investigators and the Ft Payne Police Department. They have been working diligently on this investigation for several months now and have done an outstanding job.”
