A half dozen people were netted in a northwest Georgia drug bust, during which authorities recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, digital scales and a gun.

The suspects were arrested at a home on the Rockmart Highway in Floyd County, following the execution of a search warrant by the Metro Drug Task Force.

Those arrested included five residents of Silver Creek:  51 year old Stacey Mitchell Gardner (a former resident of Cedar Bluff), 33 year old Brian Eugene Walters, Regina Sheryl Brock, age 50, Robert Derek Brock, age 28, and 61 year old Charles Clinton Lumpkin; along with Catherine Marie Reed, of Summerville, age 44.

The .22 caliber revolver was found in the carport – while at the jail, Walters was reportedly found to be in possession of marijuana.  Walters was charged with possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug-related objects in addition to crossing a guard-line with drugs.

Both Regina Brock and Robert Brock, along with Reed, were charged with the possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug-related objects; while Lumpkin, the homeowner, is facing the same charges in addition to Possession of a Gun by a Convicted Felon.
