The Sand Rock Lady Cats, the Spring Garden Lady Panthers and the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers will all advance to the Sub-Regional Tournament next week.
In the Class 1A, Area 13 Girls Championship, Spring Garden defeated Cedar Bluff 63-39 behind 28 points and 23 rebounds from Tykeah Rogers, Madison Sides added 12 points and 5 rebounds.
Cedar Bluff was led by Lexi Moten’s 17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals – the Lady Tigers will meet Woodville in a Sub-Regional game on Monday, the Spring Garden girls will host Skyline.
The 1A, Area 13 All Tournament Team consisted of Cedar Bluff’s Lexi Moten and Delilah Price along with Spring Garden’s Darian Gaines, Tykeah Rogers and Madison Sides – Sides was honored as the Tournament MVP.
At Sand Rock, the Lady Wildcats received 15 pints from Courney Rowe, 13 more from Emily Langley and 10 from Madison McCullough as they captured the 3A, Area 13 Title with a 58-48 victory over Geraldine.
The Lady Cats balanced effort also included 6 points from Maggie Lyn Lumsden and 5 each from Katelyn Hanson and Shelly Sonaty.
Sand Rock will host Plainview on Monday in a Class 3A Sub-Region Matchup.
