SPRING GARDEN — Alle Jennings and Suzie Carter both collected 11 kills to lead Spring Garden to an area volleyball match sweep of visiting Westbrook Christian on Thursday. The scores were 25-11, 25-16 and 25-7.
Carter also came away with a dig and a block for the Lady Panthers (31-9). Neely Welsh added 10 kills, five aces and a block. Abbey Steward delivered 35 assists, four aces and a pair of kills. Aubrey Sadler managed six kills. Maggie Jarrett had a pair of assists. Abbie Woods and Timi Scoggin both contributed a pair of aces. Woods also had a dig.
Spring Garden plays in the Supreme Courts Tournament at Guntersville on Saturday.
