State Troopers Respond to a Pair of Two-Vehicle Accidents Sunday in DeKalb County

State Troopers responded to separate auto accidents with injuries Sunday in DeKalb County.

The first took place at 2:55pm on County Road 26 and involved a 2021 Toyota driven by a female resident of Crossville and a 2011 Buick being driven by a female resident of Boaz.  The second mishap occurred at 5:15pm on I-59 at the 228 mile marker, and involved a 2014 Mazda driven by a female resident of Valley Head and a 2001 Dodge driven by a female resident of Ft Payne.

All four of drivers were listed on the reports as being hurt and they were transported for treatment,

No additional information regarding the extent of their injuries has been released.

Both wrecks remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
