State Troopers Work an Accident with an Injury and a Deer VS Two Vehicles Collision on Highway 411 Tuesday

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 411 about 3:30 Tuesday afternoon

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that accident occurred approximately 10 miles north of Centre, and involved a 1995 Ford being driven by Kenneth Ferguson, age 45 from Centre and a 1993 Ford driven by a 57 year old Cave Spring, Georgia resident, Ronald Yarbrough.

According to reports, Yarbrough was unhurt; however Ferguson was listed as being injured hurt in the mishap although no details were noted regarding the extent of those injuries. 

In addition to Alabama State Troopers the Spring Creek and McCords Fire Departments and Cherokee EMS responded to the scene.

Troopers also worked another accident in the county on Tuesday, when two cars struck the same deer that night on Highway 411 approximately eight miles north of Centre.  That took place around 9:00pm – fortunately, no one was hurt – with the exception of the deer, and of course some damage being done to the vehicles.
