State Troopers Work Two Accidents with Injuries Saturday in Cherokee County, One in DeKalb

Alabama State Troopers responded to two separate accidents involving injuries Saturday in Cherokee County – the first occurring at 6:45am on County Road 59, just off of County Road 71 when a 2008 Ford left the roadway and struck a tree.  The male driver who was listed as a resident of Albertville, was hurt in that mishap.  Floyd EMS, Mt. Weisner Fire Department, and law enforcement officers responded to the scene.

The second accident, taking place on Highway 278 injured a female passenger; the driver of the 2012 Hyundai was unhurt. 

Troopers also worked a one-vehicle accident taking place on Saturday in DeKalb County, in which a female resident of Ft Payne, driving a 2018 Toyota was injured.  That accident took place at the intersection of Alabama 40 and County Road 85 at 11:45am.

No additional information was available regarding the condition of any of those injured.

All three wrecks remain under investigation by troopers.
