Summerville Man Facing Charges In Rome

Authorities in Floyd County have arrested a Chattooga County man on charges of 2nd degree criminal damage to property, which is a felony.

According to Floyd County Jail reports, 29-year old Jonathan David Hughes of a Sloppy Floyd Lake Road address in Summerville damaged a laptop valued at $800, an iPhone valued at $75 and a jewelry box valued at $150.

The items were located at a Lewis Barrett Parkway residence in Rome.

Hughes is also being held for the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office on unspecified charges.
