Summerville Woman Admits to Burning Mobile Home

A Summerville, Georgia woman was arrested over the weekend on charges of first-degree Arson after she admitted to burning the mobile home she lived in with her adult daughter.  According to a Summerville Police Department report, officers, along with local firefighters, responded to a structure fire on Givens Street shortly after 7:00am Saturday.

Upon arrival they witnessed the suspect, identified as 46 year old Tracy Leona White, in the street arguing with her daughter.  At one point during her conversation with officers, Ms. White admitted to setting fire to the mobile home. 

Summerville Police notified the owners of the mobile home, apprising them of the incident, then took White into custody and transported her to the Chattooga County Jail for booking.
