At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at around 12:00 noon Sunday, at the intersection of the Armory Road and the Chesnut Bypass in Centre.
One person had to be extricated by Cherokee County Rescue Squad personnel.
Others responding to the scene included Centre Police and Fire units, and Floyd EMS, along with the Piedmont Rescue Squad.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation; we’ll have additional information as the accident report is released by the Centre Police Department.
