One person was reportedly injured in a four-wheeler accident occurring on Sunday, around 1:00pm, at 75 County Road 945 in the Gaylesville area.
The crash, which took place in a heavily wooded area, located a considerable distance off of the roadway – resulted in a helicopter being called to transport the victim for the treatment of specified injuries.
Those responding to the scene included Floyd EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and members of the Gaylesville and Broomtown fire departments.
