Cedar Bluff Woman One Of Three Charged In Underage Alcohol Sting

Three people arrested in an underage alcohol sting have made bond, Floyd County Jail records state.

Ryan Scott Crabtree, 24, of 1207 Cave Spring Road, Apt. A; Jerica Wren Beam, 30, of 3085 Old Rockmart Road, Silver Creek; and Donna Rose Bates, of 52, of Cedar Bluff, Ala., each face a misdemeanor charge of furnishing alcoholic beverages to someone below the legal age, reports state.

According to jail records:

The Rome Floyd Metro Task Force conducted the Thursday underage alcohol sting.

An 18-year-old man bought alcohol at three different stores. He first went to the Marathon Foodmart, 4970 Rockmart Road, where Beam sold him a can of Bud Light.

His next stop was Rhonda’s Shoppette No. 1, 1203 Cave Spring Road, where Crabtree sold him a can of Bud Light.

The teen bought a can of Natural Light from Bates about 7 p.m. at the Fast Trip 2, 9522 Alabama Highway.

Crabtree, Bates and Beam all made their $140 bail by Thursday afternoon.
