The pair play space travelers who are accidentally awakened from hibernation chambers 90 years prematurely, only to find they have more to do than pass the time all alone — their massive ship, home to hundreds more, is malfunctioning.
However, as they set about trying to rescue the doomed spacecraft, they learn there might be a reason the pair was roused when they were.
The movie, which also stars Laurence Fishburne, opens December 21.
