A teenager reportedly suffered life threatening injuries in a motorcycle accident in the area of County road 189 in Cedar Bluff late Sunday afternoon. Just after 5:30, the motorcycle driven by the 17 year old male struck a tree. Afterwards, he was transported to an area trauma center for treatment.
He reportedly was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The Cedar Bluff Fire Department, Floyd EMS, Cherokee County Rescue Squad and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office responded.
