The annual Gadsden Christmas Parade is set to take place on Saturday, December 8th with the lineup at 8:30 a.m. and the parade starting at 10:30 a.m. The parade will begin at 7th Street.

City officials say that last year moving the parade to a daytime parade was a huge hit with the public and that they received a lot of comments stating it was much better for young children, parents with jobs, and the fact that Grandparents could attend in larger numbers.

As in the past there will be several categories floats, automobiles, walking units, marching bands, and unique units, and of course SANTA CLAUS. For more information, you can visit the website www.gadsdenchristmasparade.com
