The Gadsden State Community College Singers and A Cappella Choir will be singing at many community events and churches during its 2017 Christmas Tour. The singers will kick-off the tour at 6 p.m. Nov. 26 at College Heights Baptist Church. They are under the direction of J.T. Harrell. Other performance dates are:
Dec. 1 – Noon at Gadsden’s First Friday Ladies Forum
Dec. 3 – 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Glencoe
Dec. 5 – 6 p.m. at the Regency Pointe Tree Lighting
Dec. 7 – 11 a.m. at Gadsden Greeters
Dec. 8 – 6 p.m. at the Community Christmas Concert at the Walnut Gallery
Dec. 11 – 5 p.m. at the Calhoun County Toys for Tots Drive at the McClellan Senior Living Center
Dec. 13 – Noon at Gadsden Civitan Club meeting at Gadsden State’s Cafeteria
Dec. 14 – Noon at the Gadsden Rotary Club at the Gadsden Country Club
Dec. 14 – 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Senior Adult Christmas Party
Dec. 19 – 2 p.m. Caroling at Regency Pointe
Dec. 19 –6 p.m. at Gadsden State’s Fall Commencement at Wallace Hall
The group consists of 26 students who study voice in addition to their various collegiate majors. The singers include: Ann Baker, Evan Bone, Nolan Boatner, Morgan Ewing, Mary Gonzalez, Bethany Gunter, Stephen Gunter, Kathryn Kelley, Anna Lett, Hannah Swann, J.T. Thomas, Dakota Patty, Drew Rhea (Gadsden); Jacob Callahan (Saks); Kaylynn Chambers (Albertville); Tommie Goggins IV, Kenyetta Haley (Rainbow City); Dakota Hayes (Gallant); Jaden Vaughn (Ashville); Brooklin Vice, Madelyn Wright (Oxford); Daniele White, Adrian Willis, Kerri Wright (Anniston); Kadi Williams (Hokes Bluff) and Alex Wilson (Weaver).
