Grammy Award Winning Country Artist The Kentucky Headhunters will he taking the main stage at the Chattooga County Fair coming up this weekend – on Tuesday Rhythm Guitarist and Vocalist Richard Young joined WEIS Radio’s Kim O’Brien for the afternoon drive home to talk about their upcoming show at the fair in Summerville on Saturday.

Young said that after 45 years in the Country Music business the Headhunters are still as strong as ever –

The lineup for the Chattooga County Fair includes Chris Janson on Thursday; Friday will feature a Battle of the Bands and a gigantic fireworks display; Saturday it’s Ben Wells and the Kentucky Headhunters and on Sunday it’s Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver.

The fair will be held near the Chattooga County Agricultural Building, located just off Highway 100 near the Middle School Road – and will include a complete Midway by Dunwoody Georgia based company Peachtree Rides as well as a lot of other locally-produced activities including agricultural exhibits and contests, educational exhibits, livestock shows and commercial & local vendors.
