“The Voice” Recap: Miley Cyrus Loses an Artist

Darby Walker; Trae Patton/NBC(LOS ANGELES) — On Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, the 11 artists who performed Monday learned that Darby Walker, from Miley Cyrus’ team, was sent home.

Darby was eliminated on a one-hour results show. She lost an “Instant Save” vote to fellow Team Miley member Aaron Gibson.

Prior to the vote, Darby and Aaron sang for an opportunity to be saved by the viewers. Darby performed “Your Song,” by Elton John, and Aaron covered “Budapest,” by George Ezra.

There are now 10 artists remaining in the competition, including those on Teams Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine.

During the results show, Blake and Alicia each joined their respective teams for a group performance. Team Blake sang “The Heart of Rock & Roll,” by Huey Lewis and the News, and Team Alicia performed “People Get Ready,” by The Impressions.

The Voice returns Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
