Theatre Centre Receives A Check From The Cherokee County Bicentennial Committee For Their Upcoming Production Of ‘To Kill A Mocking Bird’

Theatre Centre received a much needed contribution this week in the form of a check presented by Daniel Steele, Cherokee County Administrator/Cherokee Co Alabama Bicentennial Committee.

That check was presented to Director Gary Davis for the upcoming production of To Kill A Mocking Bird.

In 2019, Alabama will commemorate its 200th birthday.

ALABAMA 200 is an unprecedented opportunity to experience and explore the state of Alabama. It is a chance to celebrate our place in each of the 67 counties that stretch from the Shoals to the shores.

Between 2017 and 2019, ALABAMA 200 will engage residents and visitors in educational programs, community activities, and statewide initiatives that teach, inspire, and entertain.

Theatre Centre will perform the stage adaptation of Alabama Author, Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel, To Kill A Mocking Bird November 15, 16, 17, 2018  in  the First United Methodist Church Edge Building at 7 pm each night.
