(WAFF) – Marshall County investigators have charged three people in connection to a murder investigation.
Chief Deputy Steve Guthrie says they received an anonymous tip about a murder around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
They discovered a bodied partially buried on the side of Asbury Road in the Asbury Community. The victim was identified as Mark Wayne Motley Jr. of Crossville.
Three persons of interest were arrested in Shelby County. They have now been charged with murder.
The suspects are R. Dale McKee, Aprille Smith and Dylan Smith.
No bond has been set at this time.
Motley’s cause of death has not been released.
