Three Arrested in Connection with Break-In at Spring Garden School

Three individuals have been arrested in connection to a break-in which occurred overnight Friday at Spring Garden School.

Spring Garden Principal Mike Welch discovered the break-in – which had taken place in the cafeteria – Saturday, and immediately contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report the burglary. Deputies and investigators went to work on the case, and on Monday – three suspects were located and taken into custody. 

Logan Cole Bonds, age 26 of Piedmont, Ethan Scott Nichols, age 18, also of Piedmont and 19 year old Christy Nichole Norton of Cedartown Georgia – were all charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft of Property 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree.

Investigators recovered the school’s stolen cash register from Terrapin Creek. 

All three remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond for Bonds and Nichols set at $7,000 each while bond for Norton has been set at $$8,500.
