Three individuals have been arrested in connection with a December 19th burglary taking place at a Bellamy Road residence in Boaz.

47 year old Shirley Renea Bearden, 55 year old Stephen Craig Mayo and 46 year old Rodney Durand Reynolds have been charged with one count each of Burglary 3rd Degree.

Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin said the three were in the process or burglarizing the home when the homeowner called 9-1-1; the suspects fled before law enforcement arrived – however the complainant gave a detailed description of the white GMC Sonoma that they left in.

The vehicle was soon found abandoned nearby – with the stolen items still inside.

Both Bearden and Mayo were found behind a John’s Road residence – meanwhile Reynolds was found walking down Egypt Road.

Bearden currently remains in the Etowah County Detention Center with bond set at $2,500; Mayo and Reynolds were each booked in and later released on bond of $2,500 each.
