Three people were picked up on controlled substance charges in Cherokee County Sunday.

Edward Lamont Wallace, age 45 of Gadsden – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance; Brandy Renee Dalton, 38 from Hokes Bluff – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree; Candice Nicole Nelson 40 of Gadsden two counts Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Failure to Appear on previous charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Bond for Wallace has been set at $2,500 – bond for Dalton stands at $3,500 and the bond is $5,500 for Nelson.

All three currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
