Three Arrested on Drug Charges Following Execution of Search Warrant at Collinsville Apartment Complex

Three individuals were arrested on drug charges following execution of a search warrant at Rains Court Apartments in Collinsville.

Collinsville Police Chief Gary Bowen informed WEIS Radio that Deputy Chief Rex Leath with Officers Jeremy Bell and Scott Green and Reserve Officer Amanda McCormick executed that warrant and during a search of the apartment, discovered and seized what is believed to be methamphetamine, morphine, marijuana, and illegal prescription drugs, in addition to drug paraphernalia.  

Those placed under arrest included – 27 year old Emily Ann Roden, Randy Dale Wright, age 44, and Amber Nicole Smith, age 25 – all of Collinsville.

Roden was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  She is being held in the DeKalb County Detention Center on bonds totaling $13,500.

Wright was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Wright is being held on bonds totaling $10,500.

Smith was charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs She has bonds totaling $21,000.

Chief Bowen says these arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation being conducted by Green on the illegal distribution of drugs throughout the community.

He added that the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are pending.
