Traffic near the Cedar Bluff bridge was backed for an extended period of time on Saturday afternoon as emergency crews worked a three car wreck on top of the bridge. Three occupants of one of those vehicles involved were taken by Cherokee EMS to a Gadsden hospital for treatment of injuries, the extent of which is not known.
The Cedar Bluff Police and Fire Department, Cherokee EMS, Sheriff’s Office deputies and Alabama State Troopers responded to that scene. We will have additional information as soon as the Cedar Bluff Police Department accident report is released.
