Three people were placed under arrest on Controlled Substance charges Wednesday in Cherokee County.

Twenty-six year old Zachary Chase Nelson of Piedmont was arrested and charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and one count of the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with bond being set at $5,500; meanwhile, Elliot Clay Hendrix, age 46 of Jeffersonville, Georgia and Alanna Marie Brooks also 46 from Dry Branch, Georgia were jailed on one count each of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, with bond being set at $2,500 each. 

All three currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
