Three Men Charged with Murdering Vanita Richardson and Truvenia Campbell

In northwest Georgia, three people have been charged in the murders of Vanita Richardson and Truvenia Campbell.  Thursday – Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Vic Reynolds announced that 23-year old Christopher Leedarius Pullen, 28-year old Desmond Lavonta Brown and 36-year old Devin Lashawn Watts have been charged with murder in the deaths of Richardson and Campbell.

The bodies of the victims were found underneath the Etowah River Bridge on May 13th.

Pullen has been in jail since May 17th, after being arrested on drug charges and a probation violation.  Brown was initially arrested May 18th – on a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of officers and was later charged with several drug crimes – meanwhile Watts was initially arrested on May 19th for theft by receiving a stolen firearm and the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
