Three “Persons of Interest” Taken Into Custody in Connection with Gadsden Murders

ECSO - POI - YoungCedric Orlando Young, Antwon Jabbar Lindsey and Kendra LaShay Leach – are the three people being held by Etowah County Authorities as “persons of interest” – in connection with 3 murders taking place in Gadsden over the last week.

Both Lindsey, age 30 & Leach, age 28, were arrested Wednesday night during a series of tactical raids at locations near Hoke Street and 4th Street in Gadsden while Young, age 27 turned himself in Thursday morning.

According to the website al.com – Young is being held on charges of Attempted Murder, and the Discharging of a Firearm into a Dwelling; his bond has been set at $400,000.

Leach is being held without bond on the charges of 1st Degree Theft of Property, and 3rd Degree Burglary.

ECSO - POI - LindseyLindsey is also being held without bond – charged with 2nd Degree Domestic Violence – and 1st Degree Theft of Property.

District Attorney Jimmie Harp says the three have NOT been charged with any crimes connected to the murders of August 17th and 21st; authorities say they hope that, with these arrests, others will come forward with information related to the killings.

Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin says that the investigation into the shootings is on-going – and he feels that the killings were targeted and related.

ECSO - POI - LeachLaw enforcement officials are looking for a gray four-door 2007 Ford 500, believed to have been the vehicle that shots came from Saturday night during the Meighan Bridge shooting; the vehicle is believed to have damage to a front fender.
