Shortly before 12:30 Thursday afternoon Centre Police and Fire units along with Floyd EMS were dispatched to the scene of a three-vehicle wreck in front of the Walmart on West Main Street.
According to the Centre Police Department accident report those involved included 50 year old Andrew Guffey of Leesburg driving a 2008 Dodge Dakota; an Albertville resident, Jarred Gore, age 26 driving a 2006 GMC Yukon and Jose Alfaro, age 36 from Cedar Bluff – in a 1994 Ford Econoline Van.
Fortunately, all the occupants were merely shaken up in that mishap, and were checked out at the scene with no one having to be transported for treatment.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
