“SNAPSHOT DAY: ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF ALABAMA PUBLIC LIBRARIES”

Centre – Your Cherokee County Public Library is joining public libraries across the state in participating in “Snapshot Day: One Day in the Life of Alabama Public Libraries” on Thursday, August 13, 2015 to show how important public libraries and library systems are to the state of Alabama.

On August 13, Cherokee County Public Library will compile statistics, patron comments, photographs, and other data chronicling a typical library day. The results at your library will be added to those of public libraries across Alabama to show how libraries provide invaluable services to Alabama citizens.

The public is invited to drop in and visit the library, take a tour, and fill out a comment card. Light refreshments will be served.

“Snapshot Day: One Day in the Life of Alabama Public Libraries” is a project of the Alabama Public Library Service.
