Firefighters with the Centre, Cedar Bluff and Leesburg departments all responded to a report of a house fire at 611 Bay Springs Road at around 4:00pm Thursday.
No one was home at the time the fire occurred and fortunately, no one was injured however the structure received Heavy damage according to Centre Fire Chief Kevin Ware.
The cause of that fire remains under investigation.
