Today (Friday, August 13th) is the final day for school students to sign up for the Fire & Emergency Services program. That class has just been opened to juniors as well as seniors. Any student interested in participating should speak to their counselor.
Centre Fire Chief Jeremy Lee says they’re looking forward to a great year, and a great class. The students will learn valuable skills – and have contact with first responders across the county.
Chief Lee says the class will be informative and enjoyable for all those taking part.
