Total of 10 Arrested on Drug Charges in Cherokee County Tuesday in Various Cases

A total of 10 drug arrests were made in Cherokee County on Tuesday.

Those placed under arrest on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia included:  27 year old Judd Wayne Patton of Leesburg; Lisa Danielle Melton, age 41 of Collinsville; Christopher Mark Osbourne age 41 of Leesburg; James William Payton, age 46 of West Memphis; 51 year old Silver Creek, Georgia resident Stacy Mitchell Gardener; Tonya Renee Regalado, age 41 of Gaylesville; and 63 year old Roger Dale Pearson from Sand Rock. 

Gardner was additionally charged with Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree; Regalado was also charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia while Pearson also had a Bond Revocation.

Cody Wayne Aycock, 25 from Gaylesville and Valerie Noel Johnson, a 26 year old resident of Chickamauga, Georgia were charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, along with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Aycock was also charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Harassment – Johnson was charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree.

And Carol Richardson Bailey, age 42 of Sand Rock was charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All currently remain lodged in the Cherokee County Detention Center, with the exception of Bailey who bonded out after making bail of $500 Tuesday night.
