Emergency crews responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 68 coming into Leesburg just before 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Reports indicated that the vehicle left the roadway after possibly experiencing a blowout while traveling down the mountain.
At least two individuals were reported injured in the accident. Leesburg Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the scene.
