Trio Arrested For Breaking Into The Mountain Top Food Mart

A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to the recent burglary at Mountain Top Food Mart.

Lt. Robin Grant said that 19 year old Ryan Tyshawn King of Gadsden, is currently charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property, both are felonies.

King, along with two juveniles, broke into Mountain Top Food Mart located on US Highway 278 W in Altoona, on December 21st.  The trio stole more than $1,779 worth of items.  The total amount of damaged done to the store is estimated at $10,000. 

King and the juveniles can be seen in breaking a glass window and doors.  Security video shows them stealing the cash register and cigarettes.

King is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
