Troopers Respond to Two Accidents in Etowah County and One in DeKalb, on Sunday

State Troopers responded to three separate accidents involving injuries on Sunday – two in Etowah County and one in DeKalb.

The first was a single-vehicle crash on Highway 431 in Etowah County taking place at around 2:50am; the male driver of a 2009 Dodge was hurt in that mishap; however, no additional information was available.  The second wreck, involving a 2001 Toyota being driven by a male resident of Rainbow City, and a 2013 Dodge, driven by a male resident of Gadsden, took place on 431 as well a short time later, just prior to 5:00.

The driver of the Toyota escaped injury; meanwhile, both the driver and a passenger, also from Gadsden, in the Dodge were hurt in that collision.  No details regarding the condition of wither person has yet been released.

In DeKalb County – troopers responded to a one-vehicle accident at 7:55 that evening on County Road 51, which involved a 2005 Chevrolet that was being driven by a male resident of Guntersville.  He was hurt in that crash, but details haven’t been released.

All three wrecks remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers
