Trump Goes on Twitter Tirade Against Paul Ryan, 'Disloyal' Republicans

ABC News(WASHINGTON) — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump went on a Twitter tirade against House Speaker Paul Ryan and Republican leaders in general after Ryan in a conference call Monday with GOP House members told them that he was not rescinding his endorsement of Trump but will not defend or campaign for the GOP nominee.

Ryan also told House members, “You all need to do what’s best for you in your district.”

Trump blasted Ryan Tuesday morning as a “weak and ineffective leader.”

It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to.

With the exception of cheating Bernie out of the nom the Dems have always proven to be far more loyal to each other than the Republicans!

Disloyal R’s are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary. They come at you from all sides. They don’t know how to win – I will teach them!

Our very weak and ineffective leader, Paul Ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty.

Asked to respond to Trump’s criticism, a spokesperson from Ryan’s office told ABC News, “Paul Ryan is focusing the next month on defeating Democrats, and all Republicans running for office should probably do the same.”

Some Republicans have withdrawn their endorsement of Trump or announced they will not vote for him in November since the release Friday of a 2005 tape in which Trump is heard making crude comments about women.
