Centre Police, Centre Firefighters and Floyd EMS responded to a pair of auto accidents in Centre on Friday afternoon within minutes of each other.
The first occurred at the intersection of Jacksonville Street at the Chesnut Bypass in front of Peoples Bank. At least one person was reported to have received minor injuries in that accident.
Moments later, there was a second two car crash taking place on Main Street in front of the Centre First Methodist Church where a vehicle left the road and struck a street light narrowly missing the building. One person was treated at the scene by Floyd EMS.
