Two women were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before midnight Monday on controlled substance charges.

Trisha Kay Whaley, age 39 of Collinsville and Tina Bevels Wolfe, age 38 from Ft Payne stand charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both remain jailed with bond set at $3,000 each.
