Two Arrested Locally on Drug Charges Wednesday

Two individuals were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County Wednesday.

Robert Daniel Borders 41 of Centre and Gregory Lyle Epperson, 51 from Newnan, Georgia – were both arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Borders was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Borders was booked into jail just before 10:30 that morning, with bond being set at $3,000 – Epperson was booked in just prior to 10:30 that night with bond yet to be set.

Both currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
