Two individuals were jailed on controlled substances charges in Cherokee County Monday.
Both Karla Grace Bearden, age 36 of Ft Payne and Rollie Lee Whitmore, 34 of Ashville were arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance – Bearden was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bearden was booked in just after 3:00 that afternoon, with bond being set at $3,000 – while Whitmore was jailed shortly after 10:30 that morning with bond being set at $2,500.
As of Tuesday morning, both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
