Two Arrested on Drug Distribution Charges in Cherokee County on Thursday

Two people were arrested on drug distribution charges in Cherokee County on Thursday.

Kim Timothy Kelley, age 52 of Piedmont, was booked into jail shortly after 7:00pm, charged with three counts of Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substance, along with three counts each of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Kelley currently remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center – with bond having been  set at $54,000.

Meghan Blake Aikens age 33 of Centre was booked into jail at 10:30am, charged with one count each of Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

She was released approximately two hours later after posting bond of $15,500.
