A traffic stop on Airport Road in Ft Payne led to the arrest of two people on drug trafficking charges.
At 12:50am Thursday Ft Payne patrol officer Zac Priest pulled over the vehicle for a moving violation; that stop led to the arrest of both 34 year old Eusebio Billy Duane Sanchez, of a Ft Payne address and 35 year old Adam Steven Ross of Inglis, Florida, on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police Chief Randy Bynum said the amount of methamphetamine seized raised the charges from possession to trafficking.
The drugs were turned over to DeKalb County Drug Task Force Agents.
