Two people were arrested locally on drug charges Tuesday.
Donald Ray Mitchell, age 39 of Centre, was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked into jail just after 6:30pm – with his bond being set at $2,500. He currently remains in the Detention Center.
Meanwhile Brenda Kay Wright Jordan, age 57 of Cedar Bluff, was booked into jail just after 11:30am – charged with three counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and with one count each of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
She was released just prior to 4:00 that afternoon after posting bond of $8,800.
